Rich McAndrew, President

Rich has been a senior product development executive in several startups such as Alliant Computer Systems Corp. as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Computervision, Inc.  In 1995 he sensed there was a need for outsourcing of some of the key components of product development.   As a result he co-founded ASIC Alliance Corporation in 1996.   At ASIC Alliance Rich focused on value added hardware development services particularly in the design verification of ASIC’s and FPGA’s.  ASIC Alliance provided a unique service that included a highly competent consultant team and a uniquely reusable software suite that allowed for the productive implementation of a transaction based verification methodology that is still a mainstay of the today's verification methodology. ASIC Alliance was merged into ZAiQ Technologies Inc. in 2001 to provide complete hardware development services as well as verification IP to it's customers. 

Rich started siliance in 2005 with the goal of integrating onshore and offshore product development services to provide significant value and flexibility to our customers.  Since Rich is a senior product development executive he understands the complex issues and concerns of the development managers we serve.

Hugh has extensive experience in all phases of sourcing & recruitment across a wide variety of roles and technologies. He has worked as an internal recruitment resource, an external retained search consultant, and in agency environments.

Hugh managed engineering recruitment departments for several agencies, as well as founding his own firm, HM Associates. Their specialty was sourcing and placing hardware, test, and embedded systems developers with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 clients.

Hugh was a Channel Sales Manager for UNEX, a telecoms peripheral manufacturer, where his responsibilities included all sales for the Northeast & Mid-West of the US, and all of Canada. Later, he managed sales for a UC VAR for 1/3 of the US.

Hugh spent several years as a hired consultant, brought in to client companies to address critical hiring needs in numerous disciplines.

Hugh is a graduate of Merrimack College and the Harvard CSS program.
